For a society to achieve longevity, it must maintain the correct balance between technological and social advancement. It is also the only way a planetary population can develop to the point of interstellar travel.
The reality is, the occupants of planet Earth are not going to make it. Technologically, they are outstanding. Socially, though, they are a house divided. With a complete lack of political will to face up to reality, time ticks away to the beat of the last nail as it is driven into Earth’s coffin.
However, humanity is unaware that it is a unique species, and they live on a very special planet. At the eleventh hour, and from a most unexpected source, a solution presents itself. The Sixteen Galaxies Society of Worlds, a people both peaceful and harmonious, offers humanity their assistance.
Mankind is to receive a gift beyond compare; all the technology and knowledge they need to pull their planet back from the edge of extinction.
There is a problem, though. The Sixteen Galaxies is not the only galactic society with a vested interest in the Earth and its people. Even this advanced society is unaware that it has competition, and from a surprising direction.
Thus begins a tug-of-war for the fealty of mankind. As the situation escalates, The Sixteen Galaxies finds itself on the cusp of something it hasn’t encountered for millennia; war.
