Overview: Loran Avileen, the beloved daughter of the reigning sovereign, was taught from an early age that destiny controlled life, at least her life. She was going to study from the most learned tutors and marry when the pairing benefited the Avileen Empire. All she had to do was accept what everyone else thought her destiny was.
For the strong-willed Loran, that was going to be a problem.
