Overview: Born on Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, Georgia, and raised in rural North Carolina, I have had an interesting life. Lost and confused among the local children after my mother returned to civilian life, I retreated into fiction in all its forms. Books, dinosaurs, cartoons, and film became a haven for me, and before I moved on from grade school, I had taken to creating my own.
