Overview: Melinda Hunter has primarily lived in the Midwest United States during her life, but has traveled all over the country. Having lived in small towns with a population as little as 214 people to the vast city of Chicago with nearly 3 million people, she has seen much diversity in life.
In 2008, after eighteen years of focus on career and family, she started writing again as she did in high school and by December 2009 had her first published romance under the pen name of Moira Hanson with three more books to follow.
Her favorite genre to write is romantic suspense and the first in her new series, The Sentinels, is published with her own name, and writing style. Still balancing a full-time career with family, she continues to write the series and currently has nine books started for the series.

2. A Second Past Midnight: Sana is bossy, domineering and doesn’t take orders well. Arrigo has only known the Marine Corp for the last thirteen years of his life. The two fall hard and fast for each other but their lives are a bit more complicated than the average couple. As trained Sentinel agents they often times must put duty before self and Sana’s ego proves that on more than one occasion. Arrigo doesn’t know how to push back and convince her that they deserve each other. During a five year span, they ride the roller coaster of life before realizing they need one another. However, it may be too late as their lives hang in the balance.
