Overview: Matthew Normand was born in El Paso and raised in Leander. He has a B.A. in English from Texas State University and is working towards an M.A. in Creative Writing. The Runners Revelation is his first published novel, and in 2024, he is planning to publish the second book in the series, The Runners Acts of the Adherents.

Ambia Spaeth, a fervent healer plagued with the memories of her once festive and loving hometown of Pulchrit presently succumbing to the blight of the Black Rings. Vion, the Runners’ vigorous warrior, the leader to all the Lanke clans but now no more than a mercenary detested for his brutish appearance and excessive temper. Cavas, an indifferent and enigmatic mage who follows but does not speak. And, finally, Barloc, leader of the Runners, a sociopath secretly pursuing three, powerful artifacts scattered across the land of Admah known as the gems of the Walker.
1.5. Onvi’s Whimsical Adventure to Blemeron: Join Onvi Basileus in a fantastical adventure to the luxurious cabin of Opinen Tigrossein the Third. Enjoy being emersed in a heist of moderately epic proportions where you will meet legendary names such as Noc, Roland, and Karr the Beaver Boy. Ride imaginary dragons forged from the mind of an arguably deranged thief and become enamored with his quest to steal a painting of Queen Asima that will most likely elicit less excitement than the actual journey itself. A tad satirical, a tad adventurous, a tad enticing, Onvi’s Whimsical Adventure to Blemeron provides everything and perhaps too much of what a reader might want from a short story.
