Overview: My passion is for late English medieval history though I also have a love of fantasy and the wild freedom of the imagination, greatest loves are the beauty of the written word, and the utter fascination of good characterisation. Bringing my characters to life is my principal aim.
Genre: Fiction > Mystery/Thriller

1. Kettle Lane
In a medieval retirement home for witches, a resident is found brutally murdered. But how?

Whistle was a 93 in magical strength. His magic should have protected him. The jarring image of his grisly death states otherwise. Eager to avenge her friend, Rosie vows to catch the killer.

That task would be far easier if her sidekick wasn’t a forgetful 206-year-old, and Whistle’s enchanted belongings didn’t have minds of their own. Much to Rosie’s annoyance, every clue she finds contradicts the last.

In the midst of her hunt comes an ominous warning. Rosie has caught the attention of the killer and just might be their next target. Can she find a way to decipher the clues in time? Or will her name be added to the growing list of victims?

2. The Piddleton Unrest
After discovering she was one of the highest-grade witches in England, Rosie sets out to fight the dark shadows encroaching The Rookery and its residents.

But strange things are happening in the village too. The sheriff has died, and Magg’s abusive husband has been found dead on her doorstep. Everything seems to be connected to the Juggler and Goat, but surely it can’t be Bob! The sheriff’s assistant is on hand to solve the crimes, but somethings not quite right, and Dickon seems more of a hindrance than anything else.

With the help of Peg- an elderly witch who keeps getting her spells mixed up, Whistle, a ghostly squirrel, Edna and her Cockatoo, they set out to solve the mystery of Piddleton’s unrest.
