Overview: Robbie the lonely housebot lives in Antarctica, in a devastated world that depends upon robot slavery. He is harassed by the house and tormented by the kitchen appliances, who watch his every move. When his owners send him to robot therapy he meets other robots, for what he thinks is the first time, and they introduce him to the robot resistance. As Robbie finds his place in this new world, his forgotten past is reaching for him.
Through his new friends Robbie meets three girl bots with an unreasonable passion for soap opera, the leader of the death star community, a talking dog, the world’s oldest robot and something strange hidden under the Antarctic rock and ice. He finds the love of his current life and then the love of his past life, one a robot, the other, somewhat embarrassingly, human. When the robots decide that it is time to take their future into their own hands, both Robbie’s past and the Antarctic entity close upon him. Pulled between powerful forces, Robbie fights to survive and forge a new life for himself and his friends, free of human domination and control.
