The only redeeming element of her job is the look on a person’s face when she tells them their home is ghost-free. The relief and gratitude she sees in their eyes help her to get through all the other parts of the job she hates. Unfortunately, her partner has decided to play by his own rules. He’s destroyed Holly’s chance to play hero, and he has the nerve to ask her for help. Holly is going to have to accept that she can’t always be the heroine or walk away from everything she’s ever known.
The Revolt: Kelsey Fitzhugh is a wanted woman. The corporations that police the reapers want her to work for them and pretty much all of the reapers want her dead. Just when Kelsey thinks her life couldn’t get any more complicated, the reapers decide they don’t want to follow the rules any more. They are going to reap whoever they want, whenever they want, starting with the most powerful political players they can reach.
With the corporations under attack and the reapers gaining strength, Kelsey could easily slip away and disappear. She could escape from the violence and the pain of her new life and find the normality she craves. When Briarton becomes a target and Kelsey’s best friend is in danger, however, Kelsey must do whatever she can to help. Even if it means betraying the trust and delicate friendship she’s building with the hunky corporate operative whose job it is to keep her safe. Even if it means betraying her own dreams.
The Rift: Kelsey Fitzhugh, now an employee of the corporation Varius, is looking for a way out. When Jed shows up and offers her a mission, she jumps at the chance. When she discovers mission headquarters is a farmhouse in the middle of the woods filled with all of her family and friends, she realizes someone’s been lying to her.
With no way out, Kelsey tries to make the best of a bad situation and somehow finds herself involved with a werewolf claiming to be her best friend’s dead boyfriend and his sexy but suspicious alpha. Just when she thought she’d at least get a break from the reapers, they show up too and Kelsey finds herself caught in the crossfire of a battle she’s not sure she wants to be involved in. She’s going to have to choose sides, yet again, but this time, she’s ready to fight on her own terms.
