Overview: Princess Inara and her brother stands at their decrepit kingdom and waits for the dragons that will be their salvation. For years, they have been fighting a losing battle against monsters that threaten their borders and the dragons offer them a solution and an end to all that.
The last nine-tailed foxed of her kind in exchange for an army of dragons. It is a fair exchange, but Inara is terrified. The man with scales on his face and antlers upon his head was a man unlike any she had seen before, powerful and imposing in all the ways and he means to make her his wife.
Their language barrier is the least of her problem when he undresses and she sets her eyes on the weapon that he holds.
“Please be gentle,” she begs, but he does not understand a word she is saying.
They have a long way to go as they learn to love each other. The war that he has promised to fight for her people threatens to pull the apart even before they manage to begin.
This is a story of a love that grows and flourishes despite all odds between a nine-tailed fox and a dragon prince.
