Powers of Love #1: With his shaved head, piercings, and tattoos, the muscular Vic Braunson isn’t one who falls hopelessly in love at first sight. But when he meets swim instructor Matt diLorenzo at the gym, sparks fly…despite the fact that Matt is dating Vic’s co-worker.
Then a chance encounter months later brings them together. When they finally consummate their relationship, there’s no denying the energy between them. But the next morning, Vic awakens to find his mind crowded with a myriad of thoughts, none of them his own. After their second night of making love, Vic is filled with unparalleled strength. Oh, and now he can fly.
Suddenly Vic is filled with questions he doesn’t know how to answer. First, just what exactly is going on here? And how does he tell Matt without alienating his new lover or ruining their budding relationship? Or does Matt know something he, himself, is only now discovering?

Matching Tats #2: Vic Braunson’s latest tattoo makes his lover, Matt diLorenzo, decide that he might want to get inked, too. He’d like a heart with his lover’s initials in it. Vic likes the idea, and agrees to get the same tattoo, with Matt’s initials inside. They have fun deciding where to put the tattoos — a spot Vic hasn’t already covered turns out to be pretty hard to find.
Once they decide where to get inked, Matt fears he may not be able to go through with it. He’s more than a little skittish when it comes to needles, and watching the tattoo artist at work is frightening. With the powers love gives him, however, Vic finds a way to help Matt overcome his fears

Bonds of Love #3: Vic Braunson has a special kind of problem—his lover, Matt DiLorenzo, somehow imbues him with enhanced superpowers every time they have sex. It’s something Vic has learned to live with in the years they’ve been together, and something he won’t let stand in the way of their relationship. Matt hates the powers, however, particularly when they put Vic in danger, but what can they do?
When Vic stops an armed robbery at a local convenience store, his picture appears in the morning paper. Later that day, Matt receives a phone call at work from Jordan Dubrowski, a guy he knew in high school. Jordan was his first, in every way—it was through him that Matt discovered his ability to transfer superpowers to his lovers. Jordan had a taste of those powers, and after reading about Vic’s role in the hold up, he’s decided he wants those powers back.
But Matt is in love…and Vic won’t let him go without a fight. Still, Jordan will stop at nothing to get what he thinks rightly belongs to him.

With This Ring #4: Matt diLorenzo’s ex, Jordan, confesses all to a tabloid, telling the world Matt’s secret—something in his semen gives his sexual partners super powers. After the article appears, Matt expects all sorts of weirdos to try to track him down, but the only call he receives is from a research scientist at a local condom factory who claims to have a solution to his little “problem.”
The offer is tempting, since the powers Vic Braunson receives from Matt during their lovemaking sessions are unpredictable and scary. Matt wants to keep his lover safe, and is eager to hear what the scientist has to suggest. And Vic is willing to try the cure and lose his superhero abilities for his lover’s peace of mind…even if it means losing the special mental connection they share, a bond formed by the powers, a bond that has become such a part of their lives that neither is quite prepared when it suddenly disappears.
Then Vic discovers that the scientist has an agenda of his own. Can he protect Matt, even without his super strength or their mental bond?

Seventh Inning Stretch #5: Every year, a local hospice hosts a charity baseball tournament played by four gyms in the Richmond area. This year, the gym where Matt diLorenzo works is chosen to compete. When Matt misses another staff meeting because he’s “busy in bed,” his co-worker Roxie signs him up to captain one of the gym’s two baseball teams. The first person Matt plans to recruit is his lover Vic Braunson — who somehow gains superpowers from their lovemaking — and those superpowers will definitely help out on the field.
Unfortunately, the gym has segregated their teams into staff and members. Matt works at the gym; he heads the staff team. Vic, a member, is asked to play on the members’ team.
Disappointed, Matt suggests they abstain from sex for the next week to avoid giving Vic any powers that might help his team win the ballgame. But before long, Matt discovers that keeping his hands to himself is easier said than done. And when the two teams face off against each other, he finds it almost impossible to keep his mind on the game.
Through the mental connection they share, Vic picks up on Matt’s lustful thoughts. They ruin his concentration, and threaten to throw the game. Matt wants him, badly. So Vic corners his lover in the locker room during the seventh inning stretch to find out just what Matt has in mind .

Outage #6: Matt diLorenzo’s coworker Roxie Johnson drags him to a boring, day-long workshop on office administration. Of course, the winter storm the weatherman’s been predicting for the past few weeks decides to hit the same day. Matt’s only consolation? The workshop is held in one of the high-rises downtown, and whenever his lover Vic Braunson’s bus route brings him near the building, they can communicate telepathically for a few moments.
The wintery storm hits harder than anyone anticipates, downing power lines and taking out electricity to most of the surrounding localities. When Roxie learns that the gym where they work has closed due to inclement weather, she convinces Matt to ditch the workshop. They duck into the elevator moments before the building’s power goes out, trapping them inside.
The next time Vic’s bus brings him near the building, Matt calls out to his lover for help. Vic’s current superhuman ability is an electromagnetic power that should allow him to recall the elevator to the lobby. But the street is blocked off by fallen power lines and the building’s concierge won’t let Vic near the mechanical room to work his magic.
And then there’s Roxie, who doesn’t yet know of Vic’s powers or how he gets them .

An Evening With the Rush Hour Hero #7: Vic Braunson has little say over the superpowers he has-they come from his lover, Matt diLorenzo. In the time the men have been together, the powers have become such an integral part of Vic that he doesn’t hesitate to use them when his help is needed. One evening on his way home from work, he witnesses a traffic accident that ties up the interstate and responds without thinking.
But when Matt hears about the accident on the evening news, Vic has a lot of explaining to do.

Parking Lot Hero #8: Vic Braunson is looking forward to a quiet Saturday with his lover, Matt diLorenzo, before their upcoming Super Bowl party. But when a trio of ruffians terrorize Vic’s landlady in the grocery store parking lot, he finds the superhero in him called to action.
