Overview: The Plain White Envelope is a fictional story that revolves around the lives of 5 people who have seemingly come to the end of their rope as far as their lives go and they wish to end it all in various ways. To each of them suicide is the only option, but their are others who are aware of their plight and even present at the time they chose to end their lives.
The book opens with Josh Turner, a man who has worked his way up from menial jobs to working in skyscrapers, yet he has another career he secretly desires to fulfill. Rebecca, Josh’s wife, had grown up in much the same way as her husband, but they both have dreams for a better life, with children a home and good jobs, yet something stands in their way – their past!
