Overview: It was a huge event establishing the first colonies on Mars. From day one, NASA knew traveling back and forth from Earth to Mars would someday become routine. Captain Mallory’s job was transporting colony builders to and from the red planet. On advice from the ship’s android, he decides to take a shortcut back to Earth through an uncharted Martian Solar System. An unexpected Ion storm forces Captain Mallory to crash land on the closest planet he can find.
With oxygen low and crew members dead, the only hope resides with Becky Portis, chief engineer and ship designer. She believes she can rebuild the ship from the wreckage.
