Overview: Book one in the series.
The story of a prince who fell from grace, only to become the savior of his race.
Eron, a young prince of the human race, cowered when asked to fight the invasion of a ruthless wolf race that slew his own father in battle. With his father dead, the prince took command of his forces and was tasked to defend the proud city of Hatam from the invasion. However, in the midst of battle Eron surrendered the city to his foes in exchange for his own life.
His people shunned and casted him away, stripping him of all royalty and kingship and turning him into a peasant. For years, Eron lived the life of a peasant with his wife and son, hiding the truth from all, until visited by two men of his former kingdom. They informed him of new dangers that rose when he surrendered the city, dangers that might bring the end of their entire human race. Feeling a need to do something, he left with them on an epic journey to bring salvation to himself and save his race from death.
