The Nogud Legacy Series by Marilyn Foxworthy #1-5
Requirements: .ePUB reader, 1.5mb
Overview: Marilyn Foxworthy lives a peaceful life studying classical mindfulness, practical philosophy, and martial arts. A prolific writer of fantasy and adventure in the style of the twentieth century pulp writers of the ‘Golden Age’ of fiction, she enjoys what she calls ‘Tom Swift for Adults’. Often blatantly and graphically erotic, her epic stories appeal to the adolescent parts of us that still enjoy a good vicarious adventure liberally sprinkled with interludes of boisterous romping in the hay.
Ms Foxworthy describes her writing process this way: “I never know what’s going to happen. The characters tell me their stories and I write them down the way I hear them. A character comes to me and sits down for coffee and starts talking. I’m as surprised as anyone by what they tell me. If I like the story, I publish it. If you like the story, you read it.” 18 years+
Genre: Fiction > Erotic

The Wizard:This morning I’m walking down that road again. But this time in the opposite direction. I’m in a really good mood. A week ago I was headed east with no idea who I was or where I was going. Today I’m headed west, toward the west bridge that crosses the river to the north. They say a man there is looking for me.
Well, they say that he’s looking for a man named Joshua, but everyone assumes that it must be me. I expect that it is. He says that he needs to give me something that he’s been looking after for a long time and he wants to be done with it. He says that it belongs to me.
I think he wants to give “the haunted woods” that border Paul’s farm near the village of Bonvale. It’s strange. For some reason I want to be the owner of the woods and I don’t know why. But a week ago I didn’t know my own name. I still don’t know where I came from or how I got here.
I do know that I have a place to live and three beautiful girls who love me. They were all “Nogud”, the untouchable women. What a lie. They are the most beautiful and gracious women alive. But until I discovered the truth, they were shunned and made to wear a hood and a tunic that covered them from head to toe and they weren’t allowed to have a mate or any real happiness. I changed that and I intend to change that for all of them, all of the Nogud.
This morning I’m going to find a man who’s looking for me. Maybe he knows where I came from.
When I get home, I’m going to spend some quality time with Raven, Lark, and Viola. They are all bright and funny and marvelously sexual. I’m looking forward to it.
This is the second book in my story. The Nogud Legacy, Book 2: The Wizard. I’m not really a wizard, but people say what they say.

The Wounded:I was in a hurry. This morning I was on the path from Paul’s place to the village square. I was moving as quickly as I could without actually running. A little while ago, just after breakfast, there was a knock at the door of Paul’s farmhouse, and after a quick exchange with the person who had come, Paul’s woman Amanda rushed to the dining table and said that two women in tunics and hoods had appeared in the village and were now sitting beside the fountain in the square. I was on my feet in an instant and out the door as quickly as I could put on my shoes.
This horrid tradition of the women called Nogud, forced to hide from humanity in these tunics and hoods, was going to end. I was going to end it soon. And whoever was responsible was going to answer for what they’d done. Today was the thirteenth day since I’d arrived in the village of Bonvale. Prior to that I’d been in an induced hibernation for a little over 800 years, since the time of the cataclysm involving the eruption of the super volcano in Yellowstone and the subsequent massive earthquakes along the west coast subduction fault. The cataclysm started in the year 2070; it was now 2903, as far as we could figure, 833 years later. And today was Sunday. Before the end of the week I would put an end to this.

The Warrior: This should be fun. It’s time to move beyond the eight villages and see what’s left of the world, eight-hundred years after the cataclysm. First I’ll head east to the largest city that we know about. It’s bigger than any of the Eight Villages near Bonvale. Then we’ll take off for what used to be the largest city in the state, off to the west. Here was an international airport there. I don’t know what we’ll find. The girls and I will be ready, but I don’t expect a picnic. No matter what happens, I expect that we’ll find a way to have some fun. I’ll take the little nymph, Ellie, just to make sure. I wish I could take all of them but I can’t.
This is the first step toward exploring the world of the 30th century. And the first step toward finding out what happened to my family, 900 years ago.
Clarice and Brenda and the nymphs are getting the vehicles and weaponry ready now. The twins and I are training. We move out in a day or so. Well, that’s the plan, anyway. We’ll see. This is Book 5 of the Nogud Legacy.

The Wanderer
I was walking down and road. I had no idea who or where I was. I had no place that I was going. I was really just wandering. I needed a friend and a point of reference.
The village that I entered was small. The friend that I found was a young woman in a hood and tunic that covered her from head to foot and I had no idea what she looked like. She spoke well enough and was gracious and helpful, and she wanted to help me navigate my circumstances, but she wasn’t thinking that she could be my friend.
She was “Nogud”. I didn’t know what that was, and I had no idea what she looked like under there, but I knew that I needed her and I liked her. And I knew that I was a little afraid because that was all that I knew.
That was the first day. A few days later, I was “The Wizard of Bonvale” and I knew the girl, the nogud, very well indeed. She was bright and funny and marvelously sexual.
I didn’t know where I came from, but I knew that I was staying here.
This is the first book in my story, The Nogud Legacy, Book 1: The Wanderer.
Warning…or perhaps enticements: The story of The Nogud is filled with mysteries, humor, good friendships, a bit of martial arts, post-apocalyptic fantasy, robots, and later on in the series, horrible monsters… and a lot of sex and casual nudity. The culture where our hero lives has a tradition of having more than one mate, so that’s where the sex comes into it. His story doesn’t shy away from the graphic details of any of it. It’s an adventure story for mature adults. A vicarious romp with heroes, nymphs, and pixies. Maybe you will enjoy it. Writing it was certainly a lot of fun.

The Watchman
I know what the Nogud are. I know how I got here, where they come from, what they are like, and most importantly, that I am responsible for them.
I want to move beyond the eight villages and see what’s left of the world, eight-hundred years after the cataclysm, but first I have to make sure that they are safe and cared for; and loved, if possible. Exploring the world of the thirtieth century will wait. Maybe not long, but until I find them anyway.
I’m going to find the remaining ‘Little Sisters’ and make sure that they are taken care of. All of them will come to Bonvale, or to my house in Goldenwood, and they’ll be given the life that they were meant to have. For the next few days, I would listen and watch and hunt.
This morning, I’m at the cafe. Antonio knows the villages and the women better than I do. So first, I’ll listen to him. And ask questions. And make a plan. This horrid tradition of the women called Nogud, forced to hide from humanity in these tunics and hoods, was ending. Irene was dead.
Today was the eighteenth day since I’d arrived in the village of Bonvale. Prior to that I’d been in an induced hibernation for a little over eight-hundred years, since the time of the cataclysm involving the eruption of the super-volcano in Yellowstone and the subsequent massive earthquakes along the west coast subduction fault. The cataclysm started in the year 2070; it was now 2903, as far as we could figure, 833 years later. And today was Friday.
Before I left to explore the world, and hopefully find evidence of what happened to my family, I had to spend some time being patient: and watching.
