#1 – Stranded No Where
The 21st-century world has been dropped back into the early 1800s. No one knew it was coming, no one was prepared, and still TEOTWAWKI happens.
By himself on vacation in northern Michigan, Bob Reiniger determines he must survive. Even with no such survival skills. He will make new and strange friends, and protect his property and life. Even though he’s not ready for it, he will do battle with those who want to take what’s his away.
Against all odds, Bob must survive the apocalypse. Even alone, in the middle of No Where.
#2 – Surviving No Where
“If I keep getting shot, how will I ever survive?”
Bob Reiniger realizes he’s never getting home; not back to his old home at least. No Where is home for now…and maybe forever.
Surviving his first winter alone, his life moves forward. All around him are signs of the apocalypse. Though here in northern Michigan, those signs are the absence of everything that formerly existed: Workings cars, computers, cell phones, decent people.
New friends join old (Lettie, Dizzy, Marge, Violet, and Nate). New enemies arrive and steal what they can. Illness creeps in at the worst possible time, forcing Bob to strike out to make a deal with people he doesn’t trust.
And in the end, at the lowest point of his life, tragedy strikes and Bob must find the will to Survive…here in No Where. His Home!
#3 – Defending No Where
"I will kill that man Dizzy. I promise you, I will. Even if it’s the last thing I do."
— Bob Reiniger, Mourning over the bones of his dead friend
Bob Reiniger plots and waits, waits and plots. The one thought dominating his days is the revenge of Dizzy’s death. And while he’s at it, protecting his "family" is a priority.
Clyde Barster made the apocalypse worse when he burned Lettie’s house to the ground and killed Bob’s best friend. Now Bob must exact his revenge. However, several will try and stop him: A man with a strange device that threatens Libby, a stranger named Carmen and even his own kin.
Defending No Where is the third book of e a lake’s latest series – The No Where Apocalypse. The action intensifies as Bob gets closer to his ultimate goal…only to discover he was a fool in going after it.
#4 – Searching No Where
Daisy is missing, and Bob desperately wants her back. But is he willing to search all of No Where for her? Perhaps alone?
Violet offers her help but sets a deal in Bob’s lap. She’ll help look for her abducted friend and not mention a word of "them" the whole time. But if they don’t find Daisy, she wants her chance with Bob.
He accepts and off the pair goes, searching the fish camps dotting the northern Michigan coastline with Lake Superior. Besides the rotten stench, they find a cast of interesting characters. But no sign of Daisy.
Following a tip, they retrace their path southward where Bob makes his final stand. Getting himself shot again, he depends on Violet’s help one last time.
But it’s during his recuperation that Bob discovers what he was truly searching for…the truth…about everything.
