Overview: John Roman Baker is a British poet, playwright and novelist.
His first play ‘Limitations’ launched the first season of the Gay Sweatshop Theatre company in 1975. in 1989 he founded Aids Positive Underground Theatre (aputheatre) – a cultural response to the AIDS crisis. He wrote and directed for the company for 18 years from 1989 – 2007, initially based in Brighton, he and the company moved to Amsterdam in 1997.

In the second book in the Nick & Greg series, John Roman Baker shifts the reader’s attention to Greg and in prose that is rich in atmosphere and period detail he brings to life the early sixties when so much was changing but homosexuality was still against the law.
