1. Discord’s Shadow

After serving for more than 200 years as an enforcer for the Adjutori, the brutal and power-hungry leaders of the supernatural world, he just wants to be left alone. Along with best friend and business partner (not to mention werewolf) Dan Lawson, Nate sets up shop as the city of Atlanta’s only janitorial service to the supernatural. Life was simple, if not luxurious, as he cleans up after the denizens of the underworld, with just enough money left over to afford rent on his run-down warehouse, and frequent stops at his favorite 200 year old bar. His respite is short-lived, however, when a servant of the Adjutori is murdered during a routine cleanup, leaving him as the prime suspect.
With one of their own dead, the Adjutori make it clear that someone has to pay, and their sights are set squarely on Nate. Matters become further complicated when the petite but deadly master assassin, Sandy, begins to display a worrying amount of interest in his life.
With Dan at his side, Nate must race from one clue to the next in search of answers before he’s executed for a crime he didn’t commit. From questioning the ruler of the Underground in her own court, to facing down the Alpha werewolf of the city in his den, they love no stone unturned as they race against the clock. What they find, however, goes far deeper than a single murder, exposing a plot that traces its way back to the very beginning of the millennia old organization and its mysterious founder. Cleaning is hell, sometimes literally.
2. Errant Son
Nate Silver has been shot at, blown up, beaten, and kidnapped, all within the space of a few days.
Now he’s just ready for life to get back to normal. The Adjutori have other plans for their errant son however, letting it be known is no uncertain terms that his days of living his life free of their iron grasp are in the past. Placed under parole, Nate has to keep his nose clean, stay in town, and toe the company line. No second chances.
To make matters worse, trouble arrives on his doorstep in the shape of an old friend who shows up bloodied and pursued by the very people that hold Nate’s life in the palm of their hands. With his partner Dan out of town on his own business, Nate breaks his parole and heads to the North Georgia mountains in search of answers.
While there, he runs into a familiar face who recruits him in helping save a little girl that’s gone missing. He’s quickly thrown face to face with a threat greater than any he’s encountered before in the form of an ancient race of beings that have no business walking the earth. Nate will have to use every bit of cunning, and more luck than he’s owed, to make it out alive. And there’s still the little matter of making rent this month.
