Joining the mafia wasn’t what his parents wanted for Roger but with a sick sister and unemployed parents his choices weren’t numerous. He felt he had little choice but to earn any way he could. If that meant doing his new family’s dirty deeds, so be it.
Speaking of his new family they aren’t the most tactful, in fact they’re quite blunt when push comes to shove. However they know how to make money, get work done, and treat him better than his own blood.
His goal now is to prove his worth. In order to do that he has to prove he’s dependable, loyal, and able. Will he get their approval, or will he crash and burn?
2. The Silver Lining: As Good As It Gets
Now that he’s survived his initiation into the family Roger must endure the day to day struggle of the life he’s chosen. It isn’t all cash, glory, and glamor as he’ll soon find out. The business is dangerous, bloody, laden with traps, and no one besides his closest friends can keep him out of danger.
Trust is paramount in this line of work and everyone’s got their own motives and methods. Can he really trust Daniel and Elizabeth or will their differences prove too much?
After a fateful night he gains temporary command of his little squadron. One wrong move, one error in judgement and everything is liable to crash down around him. Can he handle it?
3. Any Means Necessary: Anything to Save A Child
No longer part of the Morris Family, Daniel and Roger are living as close to civilian life as they possibly can. Karma has a funny way of catching up with them.
After a recent job to make money the only way they know how, Roger’s bride to be disappears. A ransom note demands they trade Daniel’s daughter for her. Why do they want a little girl?
In response to the disappearance, the two set off in desperation to find Roger’s betrothed. Hell hath no fury like an ex-gangster boyfriend.
To further complicate matters Elizabeth reenters duo’s life in a big way, seeking reconciliation with Roger.
