The Mind of God: Reflections on NonDual Consciousness (The NonSense of NonDual Book 2) by Liam Quirk
Requirements: .ePUB reader, 1.2 MB
Overview: You can also never learn anything that is real. At least not in the usual sense of “learn.” The reason for that is because what is real, what is true, is what remains when all that is untrue has been cleared away. Adding information or understanding will not help our quest for the experience of what is real, of nondual reality. What is real, abides, unchanging. It cannot be added to in any way. It is the only number that when you add zero to it, you get zero, not the number.”
And from Chapter Three, “Silence is Golden”:
“As I have been trying to convince you, you will never get rid of mind. Yes, you can trick it a little, but that’s to educate you about what you are up against, not to send mind packing. You and mind, I’m afraid, are inseparable. Joined at the hip and at literally every other place you can think of. Ever look at yourself in the mirror and want to see what is behind you? Can’t be done. You can’t catch a glimpse of the original puppeteer so easily. We first need to respect mind, to honor mind, to appreciate mind. Then, ever so slowly, mind will start to leave you little messages, drop hints about what kind of sandwiches it likes in case you’d ever like to invite mind to lunch. As it turns out, you two have a lot in common, and there’s a good chance you can develop a strong relationship. But first we must court mind, praise mind, love mind.”
