When Wendolyn discovers that all of her magical ancestors are living within her, she learns to wield their supernatural powers. But as Wendolyn’s true identity is revealed, an ancient evil being named Waldron kidnaps her, intent on using Wendolyn’s powers to destroy mankind. Meanwhile, Richard the Lionheart — Wendolyn’s fated lover — sets out to find Wendolyn, and he’s joined by erstwhile knight Ivanhoe, lovable rogue Loxley, a giant spaniard named El Cid, and the Blind Shen, a warrior maiden from the Lands of the East. This fantasy tale is set in a medieval kingdom surrounded by the Eternal Forest, a vast magical woods created long ago by the tears of the Lady of the Lake. Our characters must journey through the Eternal Forest, where they meet elfin creatures (Truscans) who live within the mythical Tree of Ten Thousand Roots, and then across the barren Cloudlands, where they will find Waldron’s home on the Island of Forgotten Souls.

When we last left off, Wendolyn was Waldron’s captive on the Island of Forgotten Souls; and Richard, El Cid, Ivanhoe and Loxley had just come face-to-face with the Blind Shen (Mulan) in the fog of the Cloudlands. Now, as Wendolyn accidentally reveals the location of the Sorcerer’s Staff to Waldron, she must escape the island and join forces with Richard and the others to recapture the staff before Waldron uses it to destroy the Realm. With the help of the Lady of the Lake, our team must travel back through the Eternal Forest as they race to save the Nine Territories with the help of the truscans, the bugbears, and the gryphons.
