Overview: C. T. Douglas was born in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina in 1989. He is a full-time undergraduate in Liberal Arts and Sciences major attending the University of Florida in Gainesville. In 2006 his poetry and artwork placed among the top ten entries to the University of South Florida’s Artwrite competition, and in 2009 his early draft excerpt of A Pirate’s Charm received honors in the 78th annual Writer’s Digest Writing Competition. He began writing the first book of the Lore series as a junior in high school and has since spent several years independently researching world folklore, hoping to revive and reinvent popular myths in literature. Douglas draws and illustrates in his free time and writes music and lyrics for a friend’s band, occasionally performing at small benefit shows around Florida with other musicians.
