Overview: The Life and Death of the Emperor Heliogabolus is a 24-hour comic, created from scratch by Neil Gaiman. First published in Cerebus #147 in 1991, It was subsequently published in 1992 as a one-shot minicomic special designed by Larry Marder for the Chicago-based comic retail chain Moondog’s, in conjunction with a special signing event. The comic was included in 24-Hour Comics in 2005 and in 2008 it was made available online with permission from the author. It was also released as part of the Humble Bundle in 2015.
