Overview: Anora dreams of a time when she can journey past the Fall Mountains, to her forgotten home, and discover who she is and where she came from. She was taken from her home when she was a baby, to be offered as a sacrifice of “free will”, by the Black Church; a dark cult hellbent on resurrecting the Dark One. She has reluctantly served them for eighteen years, but secretly longs for an escape.

Unbeknownst to Anora, Arcalane is an Archknight in a brotherhood of demon slayers and was sent in secret to infiltrate her escort to the Altar and stop the sacrifice. As the nations of the world prepare for the Dark One’s return, war looms on the horizon and the true significance of Anora is revealed.
