Overview: On a hot August morning in 1980, Father Leslie Gardner is called upon to expel the viscous demon Sammael from a young, drug-addicted woman, Donna Shaney. Father Gardner deploys his skilled trade of demonic warfare and the exorcism is successful. The demon Sammael is sent back to hell, but not before vowing to seek revenge.
