The Elementalist
Maxim was a young orphan surviving on the streets of Woodhaven. Alone, cold and hungry, each day was a struggle for survival. However, a series of events not only change who he is, but what he is. A new life is opened up to him, as the powers within, which had been dormant for so long, are suddenly awoken.
He soon finds himself being hunted. With the help of new friends, he journeys southward to Pitford. Here he hopes to learn how to nurture and control his powers.
Kothia is a nation where magic is deemed a threat, and where the monarchy struggles to keep control from a corrupt government. Moreover, its neighbour also has ambitions to extend its borders, and Maxim’s powers soon attract their interest.
Battle of the Mind
Maxim and his friends are now safely at Pitford, knowing their first task is to rescue the recently deposed Kothian King. With the nation divided, King Gorius of Bosaria seeks to push home his advantage, attacking the poorly defended towns and villages. Now he knows the enemy has their own magicians, he realises perhaps things will not be quite as easy as he first envisaged. With the help of a new friend, he seeks out old alliances, and more importantly a great weapon that will secure him his victory.
With Maxim’s powers coming to the fore, the threat he poses to both sides becomes apparent, and he soon finds himself the focus of unwanted attention.

With Maxim having escaped the clutches of the Bosarian king, he needs to make his back home to his friends, unaware the very people he seeks are nearer than he thinks.
As the last remaining stronghold, Pitford is being encroached from both sides, can those remaining, defend against the seemingly insurmountable odds? With the future looking bleak, an unknown figure arrives revealing Maxim’s vague past.
