Calbria has been a part of the Castillian Empire and Janna wants to find out if the decree is legal. She declares her royalty after much thought. Still not sure being queen is a fit for her, she’s a soldier. She has been constantly hunted by the evil and murderous Emperor Kristoff, and once he finds she has declared her royalty it won’t go unnoticed by him. He has put a hefty reward on her, but knows in order for him to remain in power, he must kill her. Janna, knows this and along with her prince Tristan Eller, and loyal commander Devon Donell, they go off to build an army powerful enough to defeat Kristoff and his Empire.
After the victory over the Castillians trouble doesn’t end there. Janna does ascend to the throne, but she’s not there long. She is quickly subdued and arrested by the loyalists. People who are against her being the queen. They’re led by Jarris Donlick who has a copy of the decree and uses it against her as means to carry out her execution. That nearly gets her, Tristan, and Devon beheaded. They escape with help from her dad, and just in time. Now knowing they must return to Kersopolis to restore her to the throne, they build the army once again, to topple Jarris Donlick’s illegal regime that he has in place. They’re successful and Janna is back on the throne. But the question remains does Janna want to be there?
