Overview: The KaliSun Initiative series is a near-future science fiction story set in Earth’s Solar system. The aftermath of a global war between the United States and China, where both sides resorted to extreme tactics, has left the world reeling. The cold war that followed allowed the two sides to catch their breath and prepare for the next war – in space. When the KaliSun Corporation’s science experiment near Saturn goes awry, disrupting communications through out the solar system, the Chinese take the opportunity to go on the offensive once more, targeting the KaliSun Moon- Based Training Center on Earth’s moon. The combat that followed was vicious, but yielded no victor.

#1 – The KaliSun Initiative
It’s been twenty years since the first corporate moon base was constructed by the KaliSun Corporation and ten years since the last major combat between China and the United States. A severe arms reduction treaty created by the international community is the only thing keeping them apart. But now China has built a moon base that the United States believes to be for military purposes. They knew that if the China gained the high ground they wouldn’t win the next war. In desperation, the US government reached out to the KaliSun Corporation with it’s moon based research center and asked "Can you develop a weapons program?" The CEO of KaliSun, Edward Stokes, looked at the group standing before him. The President, Congress, and members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and smiled. "For a price, many things are possible."
#2 -The Price of Progress
The second book, The Price of Progress, picks up immediately after the end of The KaliSun Initiative, as the consequences of the Corporation’s first attempt at interstellar travel become painfully evident. Daily combat rages around the Moon-Based Training Center as the two sides struggle to establish dominance. The Chinese, in an effort to secure the high ground for renewed combat on Earth, and the KaliSun Corporation trying to survive and maintain the tenuous link to their facility on Saturn’s moon Phoebe.
With their ability to return to Earth in question, the Director of Phoebe Base, John Hatfield, is confronted by the fears of his crew – fears only heightened when a new threat emerges from a most unexpected direction.
#3- Going Viral
Martin Knudsen is nearing the end of his life and makes the fateful decision to trade his company’s classified research in exchange for medical treatment to extend his life so that he can spend more time with his daughter. He transferred decades of research in secret to the Kalisun Initiative, a conglomerate of rich billionaires with deep ties to the military attempting to colonize the moon.
No sooner has the treatment begun when an unexpected enemy interferes, threatening to expose everything. As the local police and FBI close in, the KaliSun Initiative sends a specialist to contain the damage before the local media frenzy exposes the deal.
Using his influence with local politicians, Martin has the police chief assign the specialist to work with the detective in charge to find the person responsible. Working against the clock, the new partners search the drought parched southern California landscape, doing what ever it takes to prevent the problem from Going Viral….
