Overview: I started writing in 2011 as a hobby and soon discovered that there was a growing pathway for writers such as me via the relatively new concept of E books. Subsequently I researched that route and as Amazon developed its kindle technology, I also learned how to format and get them on sale.
Over the next few years I wrote almost every day and soon realised there was a living to be had. Although I had an excellent, well paid job I eventually decided to try writing for a living and took the plunge in July 2014.
Luckily it paid off and though I had fourteen novels already written by then, within a few months Amazon’s imprint, Thomas and Mercer, offered me a publishing contract for the still unwritten ‘Blood of Kings’ series.
I enjoy writing across all genres including Historical Fiction, Horror, Dystopia, Historical Mystery and more recently, Science Fiction.

Book 1 – The Dead Virgins
India Sommers is a librarian and a talented historian, so when a stranger asks her opinion on an ancient coin she is happy to oblige but when the same man is murdered less than an hour later, it soon becomes apparent that there is far more to the situation than meets the eye.
Recognising her unique talents for historical reference, she is quickly recruited by Brandon Walker, a Security Service intelligence officer investigating the strange disappearance of a very special young girl.
As the facts unravel, they realize that an ancient artefact linked to the cult of the Vestal Virgins from ancient Rome may hold the key to her whereabouts and Brandon draws on India’s vast historical knowledge to unravel clues that date right back through history to the time of the great flood.
Slowly, the full horror and mind blowing truth of what they have discovered becomes clear and they become involved in a race against time in a horrific and shocking finale.
Book 2 – The Treasures of Suleiman
When Brandon Walker receives a plea for help from an old adversary, he wastes no time in recruiting the extraordinary talents of India Sommers to unravel a trail of murder, tragedy and the possibility of untold wealth. They soon discover a letter from five hundred years earlier and the trail leads them to one of the missing treasures of the modern world, The Piris Reis map.
India and Brandon attempt to uncover the secrets of the map, but as they travel the world in the quest to uncover a treasure from the greatest Sultan that ever lived, they are closely watched at every step by a family of Assassins with an agenda of their own.
Book 3 – The Mummies of the Reich
When a 100 year old crucifix is discovered around the neck of a 500 year old mummy, Brandon Walker once more calls on the expertise of India Sommers to solve the mystery.
Within days they realise there is far more to this than a cruel hoax and it soon becomes clear that there are strong links back to the SS in the Second World War.
Ultimately, what they find is not only a cover up of global proportions and the tragic aftermath of a long forgotten battle, but a group of dangerous men seeking the most powerful and dangerous Icon the world has ever known.
