The Human Race (Book 1)
Living in a world filled with zombies and vampires tends to have its perks sometimes. Nineteen year old Bridget has learned to make the best out of life due to these perks. She enjoys how great she is at zombie killing and she’s far from shy on letting it show. The vampires are a different story. She has to get pretty close in order to kill them and she’s not a fan of that. As with every good thing, there is always something horrible lurking around the corner to make life harder. Bridget forces herself to get used to the hardships, even as every last member of her family is taken away by the monsters she loves to kill. With a broken heart and a fully loaded 9mm gun, Bridget sticks to her father’s plan and continues North. Along the way, she meets a young man named Ryder and realizes there are still some things worth living for. Love is able to find a way back into her heart and the two of them travel together in hopes of finding safety inside a small city. Safety is the last thing they find.
The Fighting Chance (Book 2)
Book Two of The Human Race Trilogy. A year after making it to Des Moines and Bridget has found herself the perfect life. Defending the wall against the zombies during the day and living the cushy life with Ryder at night. She couldn’t ask for anything more. Until a small family ventures to the city seeking refuge and tells the people about the village they came from. Bridget, along with her ragtag team of monster killers, volunteer to find the village in hopes of bringing back more survivors. But, life on the road is dangerous. Bad things lurk around every corner. Just when they think they find safety under a dark overpass, something unexpected happens. Bridget stumbles upon something that could change the fate of everything. Something that is so valuable, yet also dangerous if it were to fall into the wrong hands. Fighting to keep it safe is the only option and even that becomes a difficult task to accomplish.
The Main Event (Book 3)
Bridget’s world is completely shattered. With Ryder gone, she no longer has anything to live for. Trevor has the cure now and with it he plans to rule the world. There is nothing she can do to stop him and the sadness is forcing her to be weak. Depression is looming inside of her, taking over the very part of her that wants to survive. She finds herself wanting death as her mind goes over every painful memory of the great life she once had. The pain from those memories becomes too much and she wills herself to forget it all. By forgetting her life, she lets loose the monster that dwells in her unbeating heart. It knows nothing of her past and only plans for the future it needs to survive through.
