Overview: I’ve written books for over ten years and established my publishing company, Three Skillet Publishing, after retiring from my decades-long career as an educator, specializing mostly in creative writing. The concept for this series of books came from my nephew. He emailed me the locations that needed to be in Bay City (although he didn’t name the city) and three of the major characters in Corona Tower (also, my name). I spliced what he sent me with ways that I thought the story could evolve, and this is what came out of that.

1. Shattered By Glass
Will Garik Shayk survive his induction into the Human-Hybrid Project? Together with Marisa Bruni, Garik concocts a plan to break into the secretive fortress known as Corona Tower in the hope of finding out what happened to Marisa’s sister, Marina. Marina disappeared into Corona Tower two years before and hasn’t been heard from since. With the help of Kevin Lee, Marisa’s martial arts trainer, they gain access to the fortified upper floors of Corona Tower. Nothing seems amiss. It’s what they discover in the basement that changes everything. When Garik and Marisa are discovered, Garik has a choice to make. Only one of them can hope to escape to warn the city.
2. Inside the Darkness
Garik Shayk has been inducted-unwillingly-into the Human-Hybrid Project housed deep within the secretive Corona Tower. He is alienated from everything and everyone he knew before the day he stepped off the Corona Tower elevator into their vast underground research facility. He is certain no one knows where he is. Garik befriends the enigmatic Jantzen Hefferly, also a recipient of the life-altering process. Together, they must discover the truth behind the Tower’s lies, and what they find threatens to change the world as they know it. The only way forward is to bring the project and its leader, Weston Rodheimer, to their knees.
3. The Mirror Cracks
Can Garik Shayk escape the Human-Hybrid Project? He faces the ultimate challenge. He has been forcibly inducted into Corona Tower’s very secretive Human-Hybrid Project. He struggles with the changes beginning to occur in his body, and he worries that Marisa Bruni, his girlfriend, doesn’t know where he is. Motivated by Halo Sunchaser and with the help of Kevin Lee, he learns escape just might be possible. When Garik makes his break, taking other human hybrids with him, the Tower is determined to recover each one, no matter the cost to either the escapees or to Bay City. Garik can barely help himself. How can he aid his new friends, too?
