Overview: Brian Switzer is the author of the Haven series. A life-long and voracious reader, his love for The Walking Dead inspired him to create his own story of the zombie apocalypse. A life-long Southwest Missouri resident, Brian, his wife Brandee, and their dogs Emma and Bailey moved to Manhattan, KS in 2017. When not writing or working he burns up the miles back home to visit his three daughters and two granddaughters. He is fanatical about football ( the Sooners and the Five-Time World Champion Dallas Cowboys are his favorites) and loves politics, dogs, and pigs. He’s worked in sales most of his life, getting paid to wander around and talk to folks. He says there are harder ways to make a nickel. Brian will read anything he can get his hands on but especially favors non-fiction, horror, and the southern-fried genre.
