But road trips don’t always go as planned for Aggie and Rider, and they soon find out this one is no different. They are barely on the road when Aggie begins to suffer from a bout of motion sickness that won’t quit. When they stop for lunch, Mama, a cook battling his own demons, is compelled to deliver cryptic warnings to them through soft, gravel-lined whispers. Upon arrival at their destination, the Honeybee Promise Bed and Breakfast, an emergency occurs which threatens the entire purpose of their trip. Then, they find out that a beloved member of the B and B family has gone missing.
The friends face horror at the honeybee farm, there are strange unsettling occurrences at the adjacent, old west graveyard, Iron Wings Cemetery, and danger from an unknown party threatens both of the friends. Someone is trying to tell them something; are they flesh and blood or otherwise? Meanwhile, Aggie is still unable to deliver her news.
