The Anonymous Gift
Kendall is a promising criminology student at Elmhurst College. She’s just starting her senior year, but life on campus is getting off to a rough and rocky start. She’s been having reoccurring nightmares about the Fletcher building’s fourth floor library. The Fletcher building has always been surrounded by rumors of strange events and sightings, but Kendall never took stock in ghost stories. She’s a logical thinker who rests comfortably in the dominance of pure rationale.
Yet, even her rationale mind starts to unravel when a mysterious package arrives at her dorm room door. Her roommate Tiffany urges her to open it, even though they both have no idea who it’s from. Reluctantly, Kendall complies and finds the package is filled to the brim with books on criminology and necromancy. She’s quite interested in the criminology texts, but Kendall doesn’t see any significance in books that deal with spirits and ghosts.
Her mind quickly changes when her roommate comes up missing, along with several of the books. These strange occurrences can’t be a coincidence and Kendall starts her own investigation around campus. Each person she talks to only serves to present more questions instead of answers. Where is Tiffany and why did she leave at the beginning of the semester? Are the rumors true about ghosts in the fourth floor library? Is there a connection between Kendall’s strange dreams and the stack of necromancy handbooks that were mysteriously delivered to her door?

Rumors and Secrets
Tiffany is a young girl on a mission. She’s a senior level criminology student at Elmhurst College, but Tiffany isn’t going to class lately and nobody’s seen her on campus for days. She’s taken off to a small town nearby where she starts her own investigation into mysterious happenings back at the College. Just a few weeks ago, her best friend Kendall received a package from an anonymous sender. The package contained various books about necromancy and the summoning of ghosts. Yet, some of the books have disappeared and Kendall is having terrifying nightmares.
During Tiffany’s investigation, she meets some odd characters along the way and has to be careful about her true identity and purpose. In a small town, word gets around fast and once something has been buried, nobody wants to dig it up again. If Tiffany can cut through all the secrecy surrounding this small town, then maybe she can find out all the answers she’ll need to figure out just who is behind this strange new cult taking root at the College.
Meanwhile, back on campus, Kendall has made a new friend and they’ve been doing some investigating of their own. Kendall has neglected her studies, but nothing can deter her from getting to the truth. She meets some new characters as well, but these new faces may not be real at all. There are already strange rumors about ghosts surrounding the campus library, but Kendall might find out firsthand whether or not those rumors are true. Who sent the strange books to her dorm and for what purpose? Who is the green-eyed woman and what does she want? How far is Kendall prepared to go in order to find out?

Back From The Dead
Kendall is a senior level criminology student at Elmhurst College, but she’s quite new to the art of necromancy. She has been experimenting with conjuring up long lost spirits in an attempt to unravel the mystery surrounding her mysterious dreams and the disappearance of her dear friend, Tiffany.
Luckily, her new friends have come to her aide. Jamie is a junior level student with a reputation for being a gossip girl. Yet, there’s more to this little spitfire than what everybody on campus is saying about her. Kendall’s other new companion is Becca, a senior level student with a deep passion for the darker elements of life and death. Both girls are willing to help Kendall find the answers she’s seeking, but Kendall constantly walks a thin line between telling them everything she knows, and keeping secrets of her own.
Some of Kendall’s new friends aren’t entirely human either. Ever since she began delving into the conjuring of spirits, she’s gained some significant attention from beyond the grave. It all has to do with the campus library, but Kendall can’t quite figure out why. The ghosts of an old librarian and a green-eyed woman are vying for Kendall’s attention, but both spirits seem to want different things. Kendall is trying to help them, but in the process she’s failing in class and alienating everyone with a pulse. She’s losing live, human friends and gaining more fame from the ghosts and spirits which haunt the campus library.
Will Kendall find a way to help the spirits get what they want? Is she really willing to pay the price for her decisions? Who can she really trust, between her college professors and newfound friends?
