Overview:I’m at the awkward stage where I’ve just about done all I can to my first novel, and am about to push it blinking into the light, hoping that the raptors won’t swoop on it, or it get lost and end up mewling from the bottom of a storm-drain. Everything has happened without any great plan or strategy, instead little increments as I’ve gone from “I’ll just start typing and see how I get on” to “oh, I really should think about actually writing in chapters” to “oh shit, I think I’ve finished”. Of course, that last statement was swiftly followed by “nope, not even nearly” but, somehow, by hook or by crook, I finished the book. Easy as that. Now what?
