#1 – Lazarus Suspended
Dr. Lucien Kingsley is desperate. His drinking is out of control. His obsessive gambling is driving him deeper into debt. And repeated accusations of malpractice have him on the verge of losing his medical license.
So when the mysterious Leona Kelley approaches him with a proposition that could alleviate his financial distress, he’s ready to jump in. That is, until he realizes he’s being asked to help her sick husband die. He’s never even considered performing a physician-assisted suicide before and wouldn’t even know where to begin. Or if he’d want to.
But money talks and Dr. Kingsley finds himself agreeing to the would-be-widow’s proposal. It’s a decision he’ll end up regretting when the procedure takes a horribly wrong turn and his patient somehow ends up in a state of suspended animation; stuck somewhere between life and death. Soon Dr. Kingsley is on the run from both a psychotic Leona and her half-dead, half-zombified husband.

#2 – Andromeda Act
Faced with the aftermath of Kingsley’s reckless actions, Jane Lewis proposes alternative emergency legislation to the President. With his permission, she will go before the American people as their “Andromeda”.
Who better than Jane to be a public scapegoat? She has already incited the undying hatred of Leona Kelley with her fighting stance in the Shreveport Revolt. Basing her proposal on the Greek myth of Princess Andromeda and the name of the controversial serum Kelley Enterprises has developed, Jane volunteers herself as the diversion for the She-Hitler’s rage. She begins by hosting a press conference to draw her out.
Meanwhile, Kingsley is rescued from Guantanamo Bay by the mysterious assassin known only as Bleach. He believes turning himself over to Leona to be adequate penance for bringing about the pharmaceutical-end of Humanity. So, against Bleach’s warning, he travels to Leona’s desert isle fortress.
The stakes are astronomical. The price of freedom more than any individual can pay on their own.
Who will survive and who must make the ultimate sacrifice? Can Humanity overcome its chemical extinction? If not, can Humanity resurrect and adapt to the Godlike creatures they are about to collectively become?
