Overview: This is a medical mystery. Max responds to an ad for a free medical exam, only to be caught in a web of deception. He’s told he has an inoperable brain tumor and should donate his organs to save others. In fact the hospital intends to sell his organs on the black market. He gains the help of an attractive female attorney who thinks he’s crazy at first, but eventually believes him, falls in love with him, and devises a scheme to escape the hospital. Of course they get caught.
In this novel the reader is in on the plot. The characters must figure out the truth and then try to get out of the trap before being euthanized.
