1. The Gadgeteer
In this steampunk adventure, a recently widowed gadgeteer must chase down the cause of madness beseiging her beloved city or face the extinction of the way of life she loves, and the people who are a part of it.

As a practicing gadageteer, Arabeth enjoys the freedom to come and go outside of the constraints of normal expectations for womanhood. As a wealthy widow, she’s the target of every profiteer in the region. She has no time for suitors, and no interest. Her city is first invaded by an automaton, the likes of nothing she’s ever seen, and then madness seeps through all levels of society, turning otherwise law-abiding citizens into madmen and murderers.

2. The Crystal Curse
Trapped on the wrong side of the mountain, Arabeth and her friends quickly find out how protected from reality Blastborn truly is. Worse yet, they are the progeny of exiles, killed for unspeakable war crimes.

Getting home would be their highest priority, but that is the first and only thing they agree on. Arabeth is determined to find the ones who sent the automaton into Blastborn. Sam is obsessed with the structure of the police system here, shocked that they rely only on a regional Sheriff system. Melanie is altered by naturally occurring crystals and she is soon branded a Seer, and put to work. Graham simply wants a way home – but he’s willing to share the only secret protecting them in order to buy transportation.

As the offspring of exiles, the only thing keeping them alive is Arabeth’s trust in a teenager claiming to be the future king, and her unexpected ability to use a technology long buried and all but abandoned.

3. The Martyr’s Deception
Altered by the things she’s seen and done, the same old Blastborn isn’t the same anymore. In her frustration, she let slip that Blastborn citizens were unwitting captives, by order of their own government and the wrong reporter was listening. Soon after that the protests started.

She’s got more than bad press to worry about when an old man asks her to free people held in a temporal anomaly, inside the mountain range separating Blastborn from the rest of the world. When they turn out to be prisoners convicted for their role in the same war that resulted in Blastborn being started, you would think recapturing them is the hard part.

Sam and Melanie are still in Vensay, and Graham is far too interested in the crystals Arabeth brought back with her. This time, her world is changed by a strange man in a mechanized suit of over-sized armour.
