Overview: Dannie, a real estate photographer, has a relatively unremarkable life. They live in a small apartment in Chicago, spend as much time as possible with their best friend, and have a hopeless crush on a coworker. Dannie drinks too much and has a fairly boring job. It’s not very exciting, even if they sometimes have to deal with unkindness for being nonbinary.
But then, they find something intriguing at a photoshoot for work—a set of keychains.
Dannie doesn’t know why they’re so intrigued by this jobsite discovery, but there’s nothing forgettable about it as the events that follow turn Dannie’s unremarkable life into a nightmare.
