Overview: The Fisherling is a tale about Grohg, a three foot, blue-skinned Sch’nibbit from the islands south of C’allendore, the largest of the easternmost lands of A’rehllendore.
Grohg is a daydreamer, who one day, bored with the simple life his people have long grown accustomed to, and certain that his true calling lies somewhere beyond the sedate waters of his island home, embarks upon a voyage with Ehn’wayen, the village Elder. Ehn’wayen assures Grohg that his destiny does indeed lie elsewhere across the sea, and so together with Lim’rihn, the Elder’s most trusted friend, and Biglum, a Sch’nibbit closer to Grohg’s own age, they set sail to El’ehc’orh, a barren and seemingly desolate land, about which little is known.

This story chronicles what becomes of Grohg during his first forays into that larger world – the trials he endures, the perils he and his companions face along the way – as he draws ever closer to discovering his true place in the world.
El’ehc’orh is a treacherous place, shrouded in mystery and home to monsters, but it is beneath this land – beneath the mountains – that Grohg is made to go. Here, he unwittingly initiates a chain of events that will ultimately shape his destiny, and change the fate of the world forever…
#2 – The Keepers of Shadow
Following directly on from his adventures on El’ehc’orh, "The Keepers of Shadow" finds Grohg returning home, albeit to a home he no longer feels is his. Desperate still to discover his true place in the world, and to unravel further the curious prophecy to which he is purportedly bound, he sets off northward to find answers, making new friends and adversaries along the way, and uncovering disturbing truths about Sch’nibbit life that he would never have dreamed of.
Eventually Grohg finds himself amidst the dark and foreboding trees of the Bo’rhun forest, wherein he meets a curious and ancient creature, who tells him of a darkness – a corruption, spreading from the west – that threatens to consume everything it touches, everything in its path, unless it can be stopped. With time rapidly running out, Grohg must unravel the secrets of an ancient scroll in order to discover the nature of this darkness and how it might be destroyed, or else risk losing the world he is only now beginning to know to the Keepers of Shadow…
