Overview: In the not-so-distant future, Earth crumbles beneath the relentless battles from both angelic and demonic forces as they clash together in what is only known as “the holy war.” Once the dust settles, Earth is nothing but a shell of its former self and humankind has to struggle to rise from the ashes. Unfortunately, the dystopian world is made even more inhabitable by the fact that demons rule over them and keep them in the dark.

Yet, is the intimate relationship between the angel and human more trouble than it’s worth? Despite magical moments, there are plenty of tense moments shared between the angel and human as well as they struggle to survive while remaining together. When trouble comes their way because of Darachiel being who and what he is, can their love ultimately survive as well?

1. An Angel Awakens
In a post-apocalyptic world, an angel awakens to find himself in the ruins of human civilization. He is rescued by a dashing human named Julian and soon wakes up in Julian’s bed. What happens when Julian’s friend (and part-time lover) Myles suggests that they turn the angel in for a cash bounty? Will Julian protect the angel against human greed, and will this mysterious angel continue to stay with his human host… and perhaps discover human feelings for him?
2. An Angel Explores
Darachiel, an earthbound angel, struggles to find his place in the post-apocalyptic world while also fighting a growing desire for his human companion, Julian. Meanwhile, Myles (Julian’s friend and part-time lover) has a dangerous (and steamy) encounter with a demon lurking close to home. Given Myles’ jealousy toward Darachiel, will he twist the encounter with the demon to bring harm?
3. An Angel Heals
Day by day, Darachiel gradually gets used to living with his human companion (and love interest), Julian, in a world left in ruins because of the holy war. Yet, despite normally getting along fairly well, Darachiel senses more hostility from Julian than usual. When things take a sudden turn for the worse, will the angel be able to come through to help restore faith between them?
4. An Angel in Peril
Darachiel and Julian grow closer and closer with each passing day, although life is still far from perfect. Just when Darachiel is starting to feel the effects of cabin fever, Julian presents him with a means to conceal his broken wings so that he can better explore the dystopian world around him. Yet, as Julian guides Darachiel through the nearby districts, they aren’t fully aware of just how much danger they’re already in.
5.An Angel Chooses
With Darachiel having been violently kidnapped at the hands of strangers, Julian and his friends get ready to find out who has taken him and get him back. Yet, the decision to rescue Darachiel ends up snowballing into something even larger than any of them.
Can Julian keep it together to not only save his angelic lover but humankind as well from the clutches of Darachiel’s deadly captor? Will the sacrifices made during a daring rescue be truly worth having risked everything? And in light of a new revelation, will Darachiel even choose to return to Julian’s warm embrace when everything is over?
