The Fall of the Altairan Empire by Jaleta Clegg (Books #2-3)
Requirements: ePUB Reader, 3 mb
Overview: I really hate writing these things. I’ve always hated them, because I think my life is boring which is why I write fantastical stories about other people. And I hate talking about myself. It makes me nervous. But since this is expected, here goes. I was born some time ago and like most people, I grew older as time passed.I read way too many folk tale collections, fairy tales, science fiction stories, fantasy stories, mysteries, thrillers, and books in general. I taught myself to read when I was four and I’ve never stopped. I even get so desperate sometimes that I read the shampoo bottle. Out loud. In a silly accent. In the bathroom. My kids wonder what I’m doing in there.
That led to me telling my own stories. After throwing several books across the room, gently because they were library books, I determined it was time for me to write the kind of books I wanted to read. So I did. It took me almost twenty years to get good enough to publish, but I did it. These books are the kind of stories I like to read: full of action, adventure, explosions, chases, interesting people, and just a smidge of romance.
My short stories were mostly written out of desperation. I had to do something to stay sane in real life so I let all my insanity hang out in my fiction. Some of it is beyond bizarre. Most of it is silly. But I enjoyed writing it. I hope you enjoy reading it.
