Overview: Huw Collingbourne is a writer, programming instructor and software developer. Huw is the author of a number of novels including The Exodus Plague series (post-apocalyptic survival thrillers) and The 1980s Murder Mysteries which bring to life the dazzling music and clubbing scene of London in the early ’80s. In the 1980s he was a pop music journalist and he interviewed many of the ‘New Romantic’ stars such as Boy George, Adam Ant, Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet and Depeche Mode. The Snow (Book 1)
It came with the snow. Overnight the world changed. Bodies lie unburied. Gangs of bestial semi-humans roam the streets hunting for prey. But for one man, the end was a new beginning. Snowbound, in an isolated cottage, Jonathan Richards wakes from illness to discover that the world he knew has gone. He sets out on a perilous journey across Britain, searching for safety – but finding only death, destruction and danger. The Snow takes you into a post-apocalyptic world where survival is the only goal. But survival at what cost? Trust no one. Your life depends on it.
Imprisoned (Book 2)
Gangs of bestial semi-humans terrorise Britain. The dead lie unburied. Society crumbles. But now the Army is in control, so everything will be back to normal soon – won’t it? In this second book of The Exodus Plague, Britain is reeling from the after-effects of the devastating global pandemic. Jonathan, Geoff and Leila arrive in Cambridge and think they have found safety. But when they are transferred to a derelict holiday camp, they realise they are in more danger than ever. They decide to make a break for freedom. Surely things can’t get any worse. But they can and they do. Welcome to Camp Jollity. Anyone can enter. Nobody can leave.
Escape (Book 3)
Something is clawing at your front door, trying to get in! Don’t call for help. Nobody will hear you. London is at a standstill, buried beneath snow. But this is no ordinary snow. As Justin Davenant is about to discover. London is a war zone – on one side are the Survivors. On the other side are the Infected – bloodthirsty, subhuman creatures that stalk through the eerily silent streets in search of victims. In this third book of The Exodus Plague, London is at the epicentre of the global pandemic that has brought the world to its knees. A small band of people gather together in an effort to escape. Not all of them will survive.
