As Alice struggles to accept the truths that Victor reveals in LA, back in Hood River, the evil element is on the hunt for a host. The mysterious sentient element’s first victim is a rat in the grease dumpster of The Red Carpet bar. But the black element is just getting started and won’t be satisfied until it possesses a human. However, a mother squirrel and her daring son are determined to prevent the possessed rat from destroying their little neck of the woods. With the help of a mystical coyote, they summon a champion that can, hopefully, destroy the evil element—The Ape Cat, a black cougar with human-like eyes and some unique paranormal qualities. The problem is, as the Ape Cat travels across the Columbia Gorge to battle the evil element, the same shadow government group that created the paranormal beast is hot on its trail and dead-set on recapturing it.
