#1 Life After the Meteor
You laid down for a nap and have a terrible nightmare in which the world and society as you know it crumbs before your eyes. And then you realize that you had awakened from that nap, and the world, our world was in changing, dying. What do you do, where do you hide, how do you survive?
For whomever finds this journal it tells what I and my group did in a landscape of Zombies, a misguided military and a virus that killed 95 % of the human race. We found some friends along the way and did some things that we are proud of, humanity at its best. But we also found that humanity, including us, had a dark side. Forgive us for those moments.
#2 The Gospel According to Matthew, Margo and Lance
We have managed to survive for a year after the virus took down much of humanity. In our second year after the meteor brought the illness to us we have moved forward to try to recreate a civilization. The old world has come back to haunt us, as have some of the others who have survived, or have changed to the undead.
#3 The Archive and Beyond
This is the third book in The Event Trilogy. In the first, The Event – Life After the Meteor, we saw the downfall of civilization due to a space borne virus that turned many from living to dead to undead.
In the second book, The Event – The Gospel According to Matthew, Margo and Lance, we saw a small group of survivors managed to stay alive moving forward despite attacks by both the undead as well as the living.
And now in this the third in the series we see where it all ends up. Loss, death and a change in the world have impacted them, yet hope is not lost, even in the darkest hours.

#4 Filling in the Cracks
In creating The Event Trilogy I found that there were some gaps and tidbits that were left out. Some intentionally to advance the overall story, some were questions that arose from readers, and some, I just was on a roll.
This is not a stand alone work, it is all related to the Trilogy and fills in gaps and although the stories are good little short pieces you will find that they are out of context if you have not read the rest of the series.
Finally, this work was written from the perspective and viewpoint of the author and his interaction with some of the characters from the trilogy. It gives more insight into both the writer and the characters that he created.
