For months, the Hot Springs Police Department had been searching for Police Officer David Beck and Missy West. They knew the two had gotten on a plane but couldn’t find any reports of the plane landing at any airport. No reports of the plane crashing. It just simply disappeared along with their loved ones.
No one knew the torture Missy was going through. No one knew about the werewolves locked in cages in a laboratory. Jack had been forced to shift over and over all day long while scientist studied him.
David had been forced to watch what they were doing to Missy from a cage in a separate part of the laboratory. A television had been setup in front of his cage, so he could watch as people chased Missy around a caged. Then he watched them shoot her with darts till she passed out. He had to watch as they did unspeakable things to her while she was out. He couldn’t get to her to help her. The love of his life needed him, and he couldn’t help her!
Missy wondered if she would ever get to see home again. Would she ever see her best friend Sarah, who was house sitting for her when she left? She was only supposed to be gone two days. It had been much longer. Would she ever feel the sunshine down on her face again? Would she find David?
Jack wondered if he would ever make it back to his pack. Would he ever be able to tell them about Missy? What would happen if they did manage to escape for good? Would he be able to leave Missy? Did he want to leave Missy?
