Drew musters the courage to fly back to the scene of his near-destruction. While there, he has an intense encounter that not only reveals the aliens’ intent, but leaves him changed forever. He must now mount a covert mission into Valta, a city in what used to be Australia. He must gather as much intelligence as possible, to enable Earth’s possible fight back. But will be make it back out of the well-defended city-state?
Storm goes to the bottom of the ocean, in a submarine as fast as a torpedo. He attempts to find proof that aliens have built a mighty economic empire in preparation for the interstellar ship’s arrival. But does the proof exist?
And twelve-year-old Anna, Storm’s daughter, runs from a crumbling and terrified city, with her rapidly-disintegrating mother and her violent lover. She ends up alone, with nowhere to turn, fearing for her mother’s life, in a different city, as it cowers before the incoming invaders. Will Anna find help, or will she be swept away in the rising tide of panic and chaos?

Is humanity on the verge of destruction?
With the alien ship already hovering over Moscow, a secret is revealed: the aliens’ true purpose. They must be stopped at any cost, even if it means an explosion that will irradiate much of the planet. But will the divided powers of Earth pay such a steep cost?
Drew isn’t who he seems. Storm must race to prove Drew’s true identity, before he can strike a fatal blow. Even if he dies in the process. But is there even a way to do it?
Can Earth, possessing no space weaponry, fend off an assault from a ship with unknown powers, or will the aliens’ ultimate, irreversible plan be carried out? One of the best alien invasion books around!
