Vol. 1
Mason wasn’t prepared when the devastation began that afternoon. No one was. He now needed to get to his family before the infection did. No one knew how or where the end of the world started. The infection took hold quickly and destroyed everything in its path. Millions perished every hour. For those who survived the initial outbreak, finding a safe haven would prove to be a battle all its own. Mason, along with his family and new found friends struggle to avoid the infected and find a way out of the city.
Vol. 2
Volume 2 of Dead Years picks up right where Volume 1 leaves off. No One is Safe! Mason has ventured out in hopes of obtaining the supplies needed for his family’s journey out into the unknown. He soon finds out that the decision to head out on his own may well lead to his own demise. Our group of survivors will come to realize that the Feeders are not the only thing to worry about in this new world. Humans will prove to be just as much of a threat as the infected. The group will have to work together as they search for safety and shelter from the Feeders and each other.
Vol. 3
Volume 3 of Dead Years follows Mason and the others just as Volume 2 concludes with the battle in the park. What will become of the injured members? We learn how the infection started and where it all began. The effects appear to reach every corner of the planet. Can the group survive? Do they even want to? As they struggle to find a safe place to hide and tend to their wounds, William and the others are continually hunted by the infected. This has become their new life. Even more new characters are introduced in Volume 3. Some will become allies, while others have something completely different in mind. The group, once again will have to depend on their instincts as well as one another if they intend on avoiding the growing number of Feeders and humans wishing to do them harm. Welcome to Volume 3… The time has come!!!
Vols. 4-6
Volume 4 begins two weeks into the group’s "Vacation" at the stadium. Feeders are no longer a worry… or are they? Their new hosts aren’t quite what they seem and as they come to find out, don’t have the best of intentions for Mason and the others. Bonds are tested as each member of the group must decide what is best for their own survival in this HELL that has become their lives.
Volume 5 starts with the group leaving the Stadium, Beaten and Battered heading for the beach house. Will they find their way and what awaits them if they do? With the fate of their son now a complete mystery, Mason and April must fight to keep him from becoming something no one in the group wants to speak about.
Volume 6 picks up as the group touches down at the Blackmore Research Facility! Mason and the others fight to reunite April and her family only to find out what their fighting for has turned against them. Who Lives? Who Dies? Where does it END?
Vol. 7
Volume 7 of The Dead Years picks up with the men attempting to put together the pieces of their failed rescue mission and the women trying to make sense of Justin’s current condition! Mason’s captures aren’t leaving anything to the imagination. They are intent on inflicting massive destruction on all who oppose their directive. A new character arrives and ratchets up the intensity of the already out of control world our group has come to know. Who created the virus. How did it escape into the population? Why are Mason, April and all who side with them fighting for their lives, every minute of every hour? Will Justin recover or will he turn into something much worse? Find out today why no one is safe.
Vol. 8
Volume 8 of The Dead Years starts with a revelation. We get a glimpse of the distrubing images of those left behind and things they will do to survive, through the eyes of someone we may already know. The facilites of Blackmore walk the line between being a safe harbor for the group and a portal straight into hell. A familiar face returns to add a new level of tension to the story. Their journey back leaves nothing to the imagination, as things are witnessed that should never see the light of day. Our group is pushed to the end and back. The decisions they are forced to make come with the most dire of consequences. No one is safe. Does anyone make it to sunrise? This is Volume 8… Where Humanity Ends!
Vol. 9
Volume 9 of The Dead Years starts unlike any of the previous eight. We see the infection through a different set of eyes and meet two new characters. Megan and her younger brother Sean are left to fend for themselves against the ravenous onslaught of the initial infection no one saw coming. With little more than a few duffle bags full of supplies and two hand drawn maps, they leave home in search of salvation and a single act of kindness turns their world into a living nightmare. Can the Human Race survive? The importance these siblings have to the continuation of civilization will come at a time when all hope appears lost.
Vol. 10
Volume 10 of The Dead Years begins with the group divided. Those who realize the importance of the trip out into the world of Feeders and those just looking to survive. Once the decision to go after the man capable of saving the world is made, all that’s left is convincing those left behind to let them go. With an unknown threat waiting to rear its ugly head, the residents of Blackmore stroll unknowingly into the most devastating ambush ever. If the events taking place at Blackmore weren’t enough, the long road to bring back Eugene Lockwood proves to be just as traumatic. Help has never been so close… or so far away!
