Overview: Scott Ganley is a former Military Policeman with the United States Army. He has seen duty in countries all over the world including Central America, Korea and Europe. He served in Operation Desert Storm along with his drop dead gorgeous wife of 22 years, Amanda. Together they have two beautiful college age daughters. Scott also has two grown twin daughters who live in Germany and a darling 2 year old Grandson from one of them.
An avid reader of most adventure and action books his favorite authors include Stephen King, Tom Clancy, Michael Connelly, Lee Childs and others. He enjoys reading zombie and apocalyptic themes and has amassed an impressive Kindle Library with such books in recent years.

#1 – The Outbreak: It started as an isolated outbreak of a mysterious illness in the wake of a minor natural disaster in central New Jersey. The first reports of illness occurred within hours of exposure, the first deaths followed a short time later but it wasn’t until the second day that the first of the dead started to rise. By the end of the weekend the illness had burnt its way across the globe as containment efforts failed. Garrett Newton was just about to start a new chapter in his life after a combat injury ended his military career. Instead of starting his first day of work at a new job, he found himself on the run from a zombie apocalypse ripped from the scripts of the most terrifying horror movies. Garrett leads a band of survivors to fight their way free of population centers in the futile hope that help will eventually find them.
#2 – The Aftermath: It has now been several days since the world fell apart in the wake of the zombie apocalypse. Cities and towns have been reclaimed by the dead and survivors find themselves on the run, hunted like animals by the masses of cannibalistic zombies. Garrett Newton successfully led a handful of survivors into the deep reaches of a regional park where they have taken refuge from the more dangerous cities and towns nearby. Forced to scavenge for needed supplies their group soon finds themselves facing obstacles and dangers none of them were prepared for. Tough decisions have to be made as their number of sick and injured begins to grow. The remnants of the US military have taken up refuge on the island nation of Cuba. With a handful of dedicated scientists struggling to find a way to fight back against the virus, a bold plan is undertaken to return to the infested mainland in a desperate attempt to find a cure.
