Overview: David Clarke spent his working career as a forensic scientist, initially in England and then for twenty-eight years in Hong Kong. Retiring to Tuscany, he embarked on a course of study and work experience in art restoration, after which, he took up full-time novel writing. He has now self-published six books: the three novels in the Rare Traits Trilogy (Rare Traits, Delusional Traits and Murderous Traits); two novels in the Cotton & Silk crime thriller series: Irrefutable Evidence and Remorseless; and a stand-alone novel — An Imperfect Revenge — a chilling psychological thriller set in an abandoned villa in the heart of Tuscany.
