1. The Lost Man

Rabinovitch is compiling a series of the lost artifacts of the Second Temple and invites American archaeology experts Jonathan and Olivia Cooke to assist him, but when Rabinovitch’s crew reveal that they may have found the lost, legendary Golden Menorah off the coast of Cyprus, Rabinovitch and the Cookes travel to Cyprus to supervise the excavation.
However, before the Israel Antiquities Authority can be involved, the Turkish government stakes a claim to the Rabinovitch find. While the Cookes and Rabinovitch wait for a resolution to the stalemate, Adam Ben-Yehuda hears about the find and chooses to intervene. His desperation leads him down a path of unhinged and uncharacteristic aggression that puts the Cookes and Prof. Rabinovitch is direct danger.
The fight for possession of the mythical Golden Menorah – the object of the Hanukkah Miracle – becomes a violent war between several organizations, including the Turkish arm of the Hezbollah militant group…and the Cookes are caught right in the middle of it all.
Not only do they need to escape the clutches of Ben-Yehuda, but they also need to keep the Menorah from falling into the wrong hands and restore it to the Jewish people.
